NHLPA member and Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban and former NHL player Georges Laraque are spending two days visiting Grace Children’s Hospital in Port au Prince to meet with patients and staff, and see the work that has been accomplished so far thanks to donations to Hockey for Haiti. The puck dropped for Hockey for Haiti when Laraque, the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and World Vision Canada teamed up after the January 2010 earthquake to raise funds to help rebuild the hospital. Together, they have raised more than $1.3 million to date.
