Uncle’s Legacy Honored With Funeral Home; Family Business

Description

Siblings Lloyd Sprowl and Lorri Hobbs grew up around death. Their uncle owned a funeral home. Sprowl remembers visiting his uncle’s funeral home in third grade and is in awe at how the deceased looked as if they were peacefully sleeping. As their uncle cared for grieving families, Sprowl and Hobbs realized funeral homes are ministries, especially in African American communities.
