Rockford MELD’s second annual Go Cubs Go sports celebrity evening will be from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 7 and feature baseball Hall of Famer and Chicago Cubs legend Ferguson Jenkins. The event at Giovanni’s, 610 N. Bell School Road in Rockford, includes dinner, a program with Jenkins, silent and live auctions, and a raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 each, three for $25, six for $50 and 12 for $100 and are available at 640 Meats, 6410 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park; Pepper Creek Flowers, 7295 Harrison Ave.
