As TV con man series Hustle begins its fifth series its star Adrian Lester discusses returning to the programme and the challenges it poses. Adrian Lester won widespread critical plaudits in 2003 when he played Shakespeare’s Henry V at the National Theatre in London. But, according to Lester, filming the crime drama Hustle often provides an even tougher test. ‘I love doing theatre and musicals,’ he says, ‘but when we start shooting Hustle we film two episodes concurrently, with the scenes out of sequence.
