Ashley Cole felt “paranoid” at Arsenal because no one spoke English in the dressing room and he feared the foreigners were talking about him, his wife Cheryl has revealed. The Girls Aloud singer also claimed she put the England star “through hell” by blocking his dream move to Real Madrid last year. But as well as falling out with Arsenal over contract negotiations, Cheryl said he was already unhappy at Highbury because of the cosmopolitan playing staff – and he now prefers life at Stamford Bridge.
