Interview: Jason Robinson

Subject

Sports; Rugby

Description

The man who today could be named England rugby union captain tells Tanya Aldred how he came from the wrong side of the tracks and bridged the gap between the two codes. In a clubhouse full of men whose oversized limbs sprawl like spaghetti over chairs, you could miss Jason Robinson. With a blue woolly hat pulled down to his eyebrows and wearing his 5ft 8in meekly, he might be a boy scratching around for an autograph.
